Bauckham first show God Crucified presents a new proposal for understanding New Testament Christology in its Jewish context. I enjoyed reading and feel a strength in my own personal conviction on this reality as it affects my daily life and am currently reading Bauckham’s expansion on this subject in the book Jesus and the God of Israel.
